Cucumber Raita Recipe
Raita is a side dish that we eat with the main course or a dip with kebabs etc. This raita goes very well with any Indian dish. Make this fresh with plain yogurt and cucumbers.
Total time: 7 minutes
Serves: 2 people
Ingredients To Make Cucumber Raita Recipe:
- Fresh plain yogurt: 1 1/2 cups
- Cucumber: 1 big or 2 small. Peel them and cut small pieces. You can grate them too, totally up to you.
- Black Salt (Preferably): 1 tsp ( Can’t find black salt use the regular one)
- Paprika Powder/ red chili powder: 1/2 tsp
- Sugar: 2 tsp
- Cumin Powder: 1 tsp
Step-by-Step Instructions:
- In a bowl, add the yogurt, salt, sugar and whisk them so that they get mixed properly.
- Add the cucumber pieces. Mix well.
- Now garnish with some paprika and cumin powder.
- Chill in the refrigerator for half an hour and serve. ( You can eat at normal room temperature too but I feel this cucumber raita tastes great when it is slightly cold).
